# Case Statuses

Social360 categorizes cases into four main statuses to track their progress:

* **Pending** → Under review
* **Active** → Case opened and In-progress
* **Resolved** → Case completed with intervention
* **Cancelled** → Case closed without intervention

Agencies have the flexibility to define additional statuses based on their workflows (e.g., "Pending – Before Intake"). However, we’ve kept the default statuses broad to accommodate most use cases.
